The National Ice Centre Ice skating at the National Ice Centre is a fantastic activity to enjoy with your family whatever your age or ability and in any weather. Children as young as 18 months can join dedicated parent and toddler sessions for youngsters up to five years. These sessions are designed to help build young children’s confidence and co-ordination and fully qualified coaches are on hand to assist the little ones on the ice and encourage them to learn through play with the use of teaching aids and toys. Don’t worry if you’re not that confident on the ice, you can leave your child in the capable hands of our experts while you have a coffee and watch from the T&D Cafe Bar.
