Activity Room Sessions

Please find below a full list of activity room sessions taking place on the day:

Musical Bumps - “REAL MUSIC, REAL EDUCATION, REAL FUN!”
Session One – Babies. Your baby is never too young to enjoy making music and singing. Kodaly suggested beginning “Nine months before the birth of the mother”! Music is a great shared activity and you’ll soon see your baby responding, imitating and joining in. Our first stage classes are for babies from newborn until their first birthday. We teach parents and carers new songs to sooth crying babies and lullabies for sleep time. There are songs for playtime (bouncing, tickling and peek-a-boo) and songs for other daily activities. All our baby sessions are relaxed: noisy babies, feeding babies, sleeping babies and active babies are all welcome!

Session Two – 1-3 year olds. A lively class with toddlers joining in with the actions, with clapping, singing and dancing! Although each class follows a structure, we don’t expect children to sit still; we encourage then to respond to the music in the right way for them. Adults are encouraged to participate fully – children are more engaged and involved when they see their special adult joining in too!”

Kiddy Cook
Kiddy Cook provide unique kids cooking classes and parties exclusively designed for children 2-11 years to encourage them to learn about 'good food' and to explore new flavours in an educational and fun way. Our cooking classes take place throughout the year and are both educational and FUN! 

Jo Jingles – AWARD WINNING MUSIC AND MOVEMENT CLASSES!
This year Jo Jingles is celebrating 15 years of music and movement classes! Gaynor Smith, a West Bridgford mum of 2 has had great success with the Nottinghamshire franchise for the past 6 years. Passionate about sharing her love of music with babies, young children and their parents, she has picked up 3 awards for her classes and most recently won ‘Franchisee of the year’ at the annual Jo Jingles business conference! Classes are currently available in West Bridgford, Gamston, Bingham, Wollaton, Beeston, Long Eaton, Hucknall and Giltbrook and Southwell. Gaynor will be running demos in the activity room with ‘Big Jo’ himself so please join in with the singing and dancing on the day!

Thea Skincare
Offering free testing opportunities to sample it's new Natural and Organic Skincare range. Our skincare specialist will be on hand to talk to parents about the ingredients and their benefits and  offer practical demonstrations and opportunities to try these natural and innovative products. Thea staff will be on hand to offer a free skincare clinic to discuss problems such as spots, stretchmarks eczema and the dreaded nappy rash!
